On September 11, 2013, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to Government and Franklin Streets for a report of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle. It was determined that 39 year-old Taurus Glass was driving eastbound on Government Street on his motorcycle when it collided with a vehicle turning onto Government Street from Franklin Street. Glass was transported to Mobile Infirmary, where he died. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
