Mobile Police Investigate Traffic Fatality on Eastbound I-10

On November 9, 2012 at approximately 9:20 a.m., Mobile Police responded to east bound Interstate 10 near Rangeline Road for a report of a vehicle overturned.

Upon arrival, officers found 26 year-old Atoya Grayson had been ejected from the vehicle. Grayson was pronounced dead on the scene. Three other occupants of the car were transported to USA Medical Center to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary results of the investigation revealed speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
