Mobile Police Investigate Village Green Drive Homicide (Update)

On Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to Wakefield Apartments in the 500 block of Village Green Drive East to investigate the report of a possible homicide.

Upon arrival, officers discovered 41 year-old Tracey Yow Boatman inside the apartment with traumatic injuries possibly caused by a knife. The victim's car was also missing from the apartment but was later recovered by police on Murray Hill Court.

Through the Investigation, detectives have determined that 25 year-old Gregory Hall is responsible for the death of Tracey Boatman. Gregory Hall has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder.
