On Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at approximately 12:50 p.m. police responded to the Dauphin Square Shopping Center parking lot, 3170 Dauphin Street, in reference to one shot. Upon officer arrival, an 89-year-old male victim, John Higby, was found and pronounced deceased on the scene. Witnesses stated that the shooting occurred during an altercation. Anyone with information on possible suspects is asked to call 208-7211.
