Mobile Police Make an Additional Arrests for Homicide on University Blvd.

On January 12, 2012 at 4:30 a.m. Mobile Police responded to the 400 block of North University Boulevard for a report of a man lying in the carport of a residence. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary results of the investigation reveal the victim is 25 year-old Andrew Levi Saxon, who was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.

On January 21, 2012, Mobile Police arrested 26 year-old Christopher Case and charged him with Murder in relation to this case. Case is also charged with Burglary Second Degree in an unrelated incident.

Also on January 21, 2012, Mobile Police arrested 19 year-old Tevin Javoris Wells and 21 year-old Quinten Orlando Godfrey and charged them with Murder in relation to this case. Godfrey was also charged with Burglary Second Degree in an unrelated incident.
