Mobile Police Make Arrest Four Commercial Robberies

On September 27, 2013, Mobile Police arrested 41 year-old Ricardo Washington and charged him with four counts of Robbery First Degree.

On September 22, 2013, at 9:30 a.m., Washington robbed the Summit at 2201 Airport Boulevard and later - at 4:15 p.m. - robbed the Chevron at 139 Sage Avenue. On September 26, 2013, at 10:00 p.m., Subway restaurant at 1861 Airport Boulevard was robbed by Washington and on September 27, 2013, he robbed the Shell at 3351 Spring Hill Avenue.

In each case, Washington entered the store, indicated he was armed with a gun and fled after demanding and receiving money. He was apprehended at the 1600 block of Polk Street shortly after the Shell station robbery.
