Mobile Police Make Arrest on Helveston Street Homicide

On January 14, 2015, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the 500 block of Helveston Street for a report of one shot. Upon arrival, 22 year-old Timothy Tyrone Taylor was found deceased at the location, suffering an apparent gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed 22 year-old Armani Markell Ward was responsible for the shooting death of Taylor. A murder warrant was signed on Ward and, on January 20, Ward turned himself in to police and was booked in Mobile County Metro Jail for Murder.
