Mobile Police Make Arrest on Latimer Lane Homicide

On June 25, 2013, 9:57 p.m. in the 300 block of Latimer Lane, police responded to a call for a female that had been shot. Upon arrival, officers determined that two unknown men approached a window at the residence and one of the men shot a handgun through the window. Officers found 65 year-old Lai Robinson had been shot and was transported to the hospital where she later died.

Investigation revealed 21 year-old Maurice Jamal Harris was involved in the homicide. On September 5, 2013, Mobile Police located and arrested Harris for Murder and Robbery First Degree.
