Mobile Police Make Robbery, Pharmacy Robbery Arrest

On November 5, 2013 at approximately 1:55 p.m., an unknown male entered McDonald's at 5019 Cottage Hill Road armed with a gun and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier complied, the suspect left the business on foot and was seen getting into a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the vehicle nearby at a residence at the 4100 block of Palmdale Drive. Officers apprehended 26 year-old Carey Wiles who is charged with Robbery First Degree in this case.

Investigation further revealed Wiles was the suspect in a recent Pharmacy Robbery. On October 16, 2013 at approximately 8:45 a.m., Wiles entered CVS at 4881 Schillinger Road South, walked to the pharmacy, produced a gun and demanded narcotic prescription drugs and money. The cashier and pharmacist complied and Wiles left on foot. Wiles is charged with Pharmacy Robbery in this case.
