Mobile Police Make "Spice” Arrests

On January 23, 2014, members of the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT) concluded part of a narcotics investigation into the sale of Marijuana Analog or "Spice" in the Mobile area.

The operation resulted in the arrests of 49 year-old Tarea Kasid and 22 year-old Carman Johnson. Both are charged with Trafficking Illegal Drugs. Kasid is also charged with Possession of Marijuana Second Degree.

The operation resulted in seizure of over $9,000 worth of Marijuana Analog, $1,400 in currency and a vehicle.
