Mobile Police Makes Tricentennial Park Homicide Arrest

On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 9:20 a.m., officers responded to Tricentennial Park 2121 Lake Drive for a report of a person down. Officers discovered the body of 51 year old Annie Gaines-Willis wrapped in blankets with an apparent gunshot wound along the banks of Three Mile Creek.
Through investigation detectives developed Gaines-Willis 18 year old son Kenjarvious Willis as a suspect. Detectives located and interviewed Willis concerning this incident. Willis allegedly shot the victim doing a domestic depute. Following the interview Willis was charged with Murder and transported to Metro County Jail.
