Mobile Police Schedule Upcoming Annual Law Enforcement Prayer Luncheon

The 14th Annual Law Enforcement Prayer Luncheon has been scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Noon in the Fellowship Hall of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, located on the corner of Cottage Hill and Demetropolis Roads.

The purpose of the luncheon, sponsored by the Mobile Police Department, is to give the community the opportunity to express it's appreciate for the law enforcement community, according to Chaplain Jerry Brown.

Area law enforcement agencies, including local, county, state and federal agencies, support the luncheon. Chief Michael T. Williams of the Mobile Police Department and Sheriff Sam Cochran of the Mobile County Sheriff's Office will give a warm welcome to attendees.

The program lasts for one hour, including the meal, and the public is welcome to attend, provided reservations are made by contacting the Chaplain's office at (251) 208-1930. Luncheon tickets are $7.50 per person.
