Mobile Police Weekend Safety Checkpoint Results

On August 12 and 13, 2011, Mobile Police conducted Safety Checkpoints in various parts of Mobile. The checkpoints were conducted during evening hours to ensure citizen safety and that motorists were complying with state and local traffic laws.

Police checked seatbelts, child restraints and other safety features. Officers also checked to ensure drivers were carrying registration, proof of insurance and driver's licenses, as required by law.
