MPD Investigate Homicide on Racine Drive

On Saturday, July 7, 2012, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the 5500 block of Racine Avenue for a report of one shot.  Upon arrival, officers discovered 40 year-old Wendy Fisher suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.  She was transported to USA Medical Center where she died from her injury. 

Preliminary investigation reveals a vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic with dark tint occupied by three to four black male subjects, fired multiple shots at the victim before speeding away. 

Homicide detectives will continue the investigation. Mobile Police ask if anyone has information about this incident, please call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211, Crime Stoppers at 208-7000 or text to CRIMES (274637) and include the keyword CRIME 411.
