MPD Investigating Murder on Canal Street

On Thursday, January 21, 2016 at approximately 12:45 a.m. officers responded to a report of one shot on the 1900 block of Canal Street. Upon arrival they found a deceased 48-year-old male in the front yard beside the open driver door of a white Ford Expedition. He had been shot multiple times. The body was transported for autopsy.

Mobile Police Homicide detectives are investigating possible motive. Anyone with information is asked to call Mobile Police at 208-7211 or Crime Stoppers at 208-7000.
