On Monday, January 6, 2020 at approximately 7:17 p.m., police responded to 1000 block of Hercules Street in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, a male victim identified as 55-year-old Willie Marshal was found shot. He was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injury. The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE: On Friday, January 17, 2020, Melvin Thompson, 40, turned himself into police. Thompson was arrested and charged with murder.
