35 YEAR-OLD- MAN ARRESTED FOR SEX CRIMES AND BURGLARY

On March 23, 2009, at approximately 11:00 P.M. officers responded to the 4000 block of Antares Lane in reference to a burglary. Once officers arrived the victim told police that she was sexually assaulted at knife point. The subject was later identified by Investigators as Ricky S. Veal Junior.

Veal is a registered Sex Offender with Colbert, County and has been arrested before for similar charges.

On March 26, at 3:00 P.M. Veal was arrested at a family member's residence located off of Schillinger Road North Veal was hiding in the attic.

Veal has been charged with Burglary 1st, Sexual Abuse 1st and Sodomy 1stDegree
