MPD Victim Services is committed to helping victims of crime.
Any person who is an innocent victim of a crime such as an assault, sexual offense or domestic violence, or next-to-kin of a victim who was murdered can apply for Alabama Crime Victims' Compensation.
MPD Victim Services offers application assistance classes.
To obtain application assistance, sign up for the class set for Tuesday, Feb. 18, 11AM to 12:45PM, at the Toulminville Branch Library (601 Stanton Road). Email victimadvocate@cityofmobile.org or call 251-208-6384 to attend. MPD victim advocates only provide assistance by helping the victim complete the application. MPD does not determine eligibility.
