Mobile police have arrested the carjacking suspect who stole a victim's car in the 600 block of Bond Street. On Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 at approximately 2 a.m. the victim stated she was giving Timothy Washington, 21, a ride home. Washington asked if the victim could make a couple of stops for him and she did. The victim then asked him where he lived. Washington took her to a dead end street.
When she turned on the car light, Washington pointed a handgun at her, which is when she jumped out of the vehicle and ran. He stole her car and property.
Police tracked down Washington and arrested him. The charges he faces are robbery first degree, theft of property first degree, and possession of an altered firearm.
