The Mobile Police Department raised $3,200 in its 2017 Chili Cook-Off event. With five teams competing with their best chili recipes, the event attracted more than 250 attendees.
The team from Precinct 2 called "After Burner" won the People's Choice Award for best tasting chili. The judges pick for this year's Chili Cook-Off winner was a team of officers from Precinct 4, better known as "The Heat is On"--a second year in a row win for them!
This was the second year the police department hosted the event. All proceeds benefit the Mobile Police Foundation and Crime Prevention Unit.
