On Sunday, November 1, 2020 at approximately 10:58 p.m., police responded to the 2600 block of Farnell Drive in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, a female victim was found inside her residence with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim was identifed as 41-year-old April Ruggs.
Ruggs later died as a result of her injuries.
