Aug 22nd, 2018

An autopsy of a 2-year-old boy showed signs of abuse, and the child’s death has now been ruled a homicide.

On Monday, August 20, 2018 at approximately 9:17 a.m., police responded to the 7300 block of Elmo Ave. in reference to one deceased. When officers arrived, the child had already been transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The child’s mother stated she took her son to the hospital on the previous night due to him not feeling well. The hospital treated the 2 year old for constipation and he was released.
