The Mobile Police Department is proud to announce the start of its 31st Mobile Citizen’s Police Academy. The 10-week course, starting on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, is designed to provide members of the Mobile community with an inside look at the workings of the police department. Participants will learn about various aspects of law enforcement, including patrol procedures, investigations, and crime scene processing.
The Mobile Citizen’s Police Academy is open to all Mobile County residents. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn more about their local police department. The deadline for registration is Monday, March 6, 2023.
Participants must be at least 21 years of age with no significant arrest history and must have a valid Alabama driver’s license. All participants will also undergo a background check.
