FEMALE ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING

On January 01, 2009, Maranda Slate (19) advised police that she was at the parking lot of the Wal-Mart located at 685 South Schillinger Road getting into her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown black male.

Slate stated that the unknown black male threaten her and demanded money as she entered her vehicle.

The investigation later revealed that Maranda Slate made a false report. On January 7, 2009, Slate was arrested for False Reporting to a Law Enforcement Authorities.
