GUNS & HOSES BLOOD DRIVE

Starting Sunday December 28, 2008 through Tuesday, December 30, 2008 the City of Mobile Police and Fire Department will be engaged in a friendly competition against one another to see which organization can collect the most units of blood.

Life South Community Blood Center will be set up inside of police headquarters from 12 P.M. to 9 P.M. The public is welcome to come and support the organization of their choice. All donors will receive a special designed "Guns & Hoses" t-shirt, along with lunch and snacks. The winning organization will receive a Guns and Hoses trophy!!!!!!!!!

Life South Community Blood Center is your community blood supplier which means all blood collected at the center stays at the center. All the hospitals in Mobile County and the two hospitals in Baldwin County decided that they wanted a blood bank of their own. Life South started collecting blood in the two counties back in October 2007.
