Halloween Safety Tips

The Mobile Police Department would like for everyone to have a safe Halloween by following these safety tips:

• Always be aware of your surroundings.

• Remember there is safety in numbers — travel in a group.

• Carry flashlights and use glow sticks.

• Stay on sidewalks whenever possible.

• Drive alert for children crossing the streets when in neighborhoods.

• Have a plan in the event your group becomes separated while walking through neighborhoods.

• Only go to houses that appear clearly open for trick or treating.

• Underage drinking is forbidden and the result of such will be strictly enforced.

• Officers will be watching acts of vandalism.

• Have fun!
