On Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at approximately 9:29 p.m. officers responded to a report of one shot at the IB Mart, 1415 Dauphin Island Parkway. The 35-year-old victim was shot and killed inside the store.
The suspect John Walker, 60, exited the store, pointed the gun in the direction of two witnesses, and pulled the trigger but the gun did not fire.
Walker has been arrested and charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
