Mobile police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman who was found inside a vehicle as a homicide.
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 around 5:45 p.m., police were called to the area of Shelton Beach Extension just south of Bear Fork Road in reference to one down. Upon arrival, officers found the woman deceased and it was determined that she had been killed.

UPDATE 3/5/18: The victim's identity has been released. Her name is Lelia Smith.
