HOMICIDE ON GAYLE STREET

On October 22, 2008, at approximately 11:55 pm, the Mobile Police Department's SLIDE Team was on routine assignment when they drove onto Gayle St. near Tennessee St. There they discovered a crowd of people standing around a male victim lying on the ground. The officers discovered that the victim had been shot once. Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

The victim was identified as Dequince Frison (26) of Mobile. Investigators are poring over witness statements to determine who killed the victim. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Mobile Police Department at 208-7000 or 208-1751.
