On Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at approximately 6:34 p.m. Mobile Police Department received a call of one shot on the 500 block of Rickarby Street. Upon arrival, officers found the 17-year-old male victim TyDarius Jones suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified in this case. On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, officers located and arrested 21-year-old Xavier Flake on charges of murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
