In partnership with Mobile Memorial Gardens, the City of Mobile Public Safety Chaplain Corps will honor all local first responders by hosting a Heroes Respond First Remembrance Ceremony on the 22nd anniversary of 9/11.
The ceremony pays tribute to Mobile’s first responders while remembering the dramatic example of selfless sacrifice made by their brothers and sisters on Sept. 11, 2001.
The ceremony is set for Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Garden of Heroes, near the Nevius Road entrance of Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Road). The speaker will be City of Mobile Fire Chief Jeremy Lami.
