To help with traffic flow for hurricane evacuees, the Mobile Police Department is diverting all commercial vehicles traveling I-10 westbound away from the tunnel.
All commercial vehicles traveling westbound I-10 on the Bayway should stay in the right lane and will be directed to take Exit 27. From there, truckers will travel to the Cochran-Africatown Bridge to Baybridge Road, and then turn right to go northbound I-165.
Truckers can then take I-165 northbound to I-65 southbound. Once truckers are on I-65 southbound it will take them back to I-10 to continue west on I-10.
