The Mobile Police Department has arrested and charged Corporal Damian Colvin with possession of controlled substance, theft of property second degree, and tampering with physical evidence.
Acting on a complaint from another police officer, the department initiated an internal affairs investigation on August 22, 2017. Based on the evidence obtained, the internal affairs investigation led to a criminal investigation. After consulting with the District Attorney’s Office, criminal charges were filed and warrants were executed.
Colvin’s date of hire was January 24, 2004. He worked in patrol and was assigned to Precinct 2. Colvin resigned before the investigation could be completed.
