The Mobile Police Department has named Jasmanka Chaney as the Civilian Employee of the Month for March 2024. Chaney is a community resource officer for the Traffic Safety Unit.
Chaney demonstrates an unwavering dedication to the Traffic Safety Unit, taking on any role that is needed. During the month of March, she organized the scheduling of the community resource officers. Additionally, she took a lead role due to an absence in the office and exceeded expectations.
Chaney completed many other tasks including conducting school traffic at Leinkauf Elementary twice a day, scanning witness statements, and completing vehicle inspections. She is commended for her dedication and efforts to the Traffic Safety Unit.
