Knock and Talk Investigation Lead to Arrests

On February 11, 2016, the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT) executed a knock and talk investigation at the 3900 block of Kayson Court regarding a recent report of marijuana trafficking. At the door police immediately noticed a handgun in plain view in the living room and the smell of marijuana.

A search warrant for the residence was obtained. At the conclusion of the search, MCSENT seized five pistols, nearly 10 pounds of marijuana, several pounds of "dab" THC resin, several pounds of edible marijuana cookies and brownies, assorted prescription narcotic tablets, paraphernalia for the consumption and sale of marijuana, ledgers, $17,550 cash, and a 2000 Cadillac.

Gunner Gaddis, 23, was arrested for Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. And, Jerry Lebouef, 24, was arrested for Trafficking Marijuana.
