On March 8, 2011, was Mardi Gras Day in Mobile. Today 154,400 people viewed the MAMGA parade, and 103,725 people viewed the night parade. Police towed 22 vehicles and issued 37 parking tickets. Police made 84 misdemeanor arrests, 2 felonies, seized three firearms, and one knife. There were no major traffic incidents reported, and no major injuries.
