Marijuana Arrest

On November 15, 2011 at approximately 3:00 p.m. members of the M.C.S.E.N.T. Unit concluded a month-long narcotic investigation and arrested Keith Wells on Demotropolis Road and he was he was found to be in possession of approximately ½ pound of hydroponic marijuana (Value: $ 3,500.00). Also seized from Wells were $1,135.00 U.S. Currency and a 2012 Dodge Ram Truck.



While continuing the investigation additional marijuana was discovered to be inside his personal residence in the 9200 Block of Franklin Creek Road in Jackson County Mississippi. The Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County Mississippi was contacted by the M.C.S.E.N.T. Unit with specific information about additional marijuana which led to a narcotics search warrant for that residence.



On November 15, 2011 at approximately 9:00 p.m. The Jackson County Task Force through the Gulfport D.E.A. Office (assisted by the M.C.S.E.N.T. Unit) executed the search warrant on the residence. The Jackson County Task Force seized the following items:



1. $78,500.00 U.S. Currency

2. Approximately 6 lbs hydroponic marijuana (Value: $ 45,000.00)

3. 2000 Honda (model 2000) Convertible (Value: $ 5500.00)

4. 2006 Honda 2 Dr Accord (Value: $ 9500.00)

5. 12 gauge Mossberg Shotgun (Value: $800.00)
