MCSENT Makes Significant Narcotics Arrest on I-65 Service Road South

On February 4, 2015, the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT) unit concluded an investigation on an individual by conducting an operation at a motel room at Econolodge located on Interstate 65 Service Road South.

Police seized over half a kilo of marijuana, several grams of methamphetamine, over 150 over-the-counter non-prescription tablets, prescription narcotics, a firearm and $600 in U. S. currency.

Cedric Deshaun Banks was arrested on the following charges:
-Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
-Possession of Marijuana First Degree.
-Possession of Precursor Chemicals
-Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons Forbidden
