Mobile Police Arrest a Robbery Suspect

On February 1, 2013 at 6:18 p.m. Mobile Police responded to the parking lot of Bel Air Mall for a report of a robbery to an individual. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unknown male had pushed a female to the ground and took her purse.

Through the investigation, detectives have determined that 25 year old Vincent Ruggs was responsible for the robbery and assault. He has been charged with Robbery Third Degree, Assault Second Degree, and three counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
