Mobile Police Arrest a Robbery Suspect

On September 8, 2011 at 11:15 a.m. Teddy Roosevelt Cotton was arrested for multiple felonies after a detective received information that Cotton was on Hillcrest Road near the Green Tree Apartments. Several officers in Patrol, Robbery Unit, Tactical Response Unit and the K9 detail responded and set a perimeter to limit Cotton's ability to escape. The Department of Public Safety Helicopter responded and provided air support.

Teddy Roosevelt Cotton was apprehended at 6051 Old Shell Road and received medical attention at the University of South Alabama Medical Center after receiving minor injuries while attempting to elude officers and during his apprehension.

Teddy Roosevelt has been arrested and charged with three counts of Robbery First Degree, two counts of Burglary First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Attempted Kidnapping Second Degree, and had an active warrant for Burglary Second Degree.
