Mobile Police Arrest an Assault Suspect

On April 21, 2013, 5:40 p.m. in the 1100 block of Preston Avenue, two victims were standing on the porch of a residence when they heard shots from a vehicle parked across the street. A female victim was struck in the head and a male victim was struck in the back.

Through the investigation, 16 year old Jamel Brown has been identified as one of the suspects. He was arrested today and charged with Assault First Degree for the injuries to the female victim and Assault Second degree for the injuries to the male victim.
