Mobile Police Arrest Barker Drive Robbery Suspect

On January 15, 2012, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the 6400 block of Barker Drive for a report of a robbery to an individual. An unknown male approached a 55 year-old female as she was about to unlock the front door to her residence. The suspect, holding an object that made the victim feel as if he was armed, demanded the victim's property. The suspect then ran from the scene with the purse.

On February 2, 2012, Mobile Police arrested 19 year-old Nadamion Markell Tunstall and charged him with Robbery First Degree in relation to this crime. On January 26, 2012, police arrested 29 year-old Wilma Ankom for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card after she was identified as using a credit card taken during this robbery.
