Mobile Police Arrest Male Subject For Impersonating A Police Officer

On November 11, 2015, a victim filed a report of being sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance on the area of Michigan Avenue. The victim stated the subject while dressed in police style equipment threaten to take her to jail on her warrants / traffic tickets if she did not have intercourse with him. At the time of this incident the victim was only able to provide Law Enforcement with the nickname for the subject.
On December 10, 2015, officers responded to the 2100 block of St Stephens Road for a report of One Sexually Assaulted. The victim stated a known male acquaintance sexually assaulted her in the Maysville Area. The victim stated prior to the sexual assault the subject told her he was the Police. The victim provided Law Enforcement with the same nickname given by the first victim. Through the course of the investigation officers developed the name Jacob Longshaw as a possible suspect.
On December 15, 2015, officers located Jacob Longshaw with two female subjects. As officers were conducting their investigation one of the females stated Longshaw sexually assaulted her. Longshaw was interviewed and following the interview he was arrested and charged with three counts of Rape 1st Degree and two counts of Impersonating a Police Officer.
