Apr 1st, 2015

On Thursday, April 2, 2015, Mobile Police and leaders from the Campground area will hold a fish fry for members of the Campground and Bottoms community at the southwest corner of Cuba and Congress Streets from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Members of the Mobile Police Department will be frying fish which will be served with baked beans and cole slaw, free of charge.

Chief James Barber, along with Mayor Sandy Stimpson and Councilman Levon Manzie, will be on hand to discuss recent improvements in the area with citizens. "We hope area citizens will take this as an opportunity to give myself, Mayor Stimpson and Councilman Manzie feedback on their community," said Chief Barber. "Communication between law-abiding citizens and their city leaders is vital to ensuring Mobile becomes the safest city in America with respect for everyone."
