Mobile Police Department Crime Prevention Hosts Holiday Chili Cook-Off

It's a competition between police officers, it's a Chili Cook-Off. Six teams of police officers compete with their best chili recipes to raise funds in support of the Mobile Police Foundation. Join Mobile Police Department Crime Prevention as it hosts the holiday event at Cathedral Square on Saturday, December 12. Gates open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From sampling some of the best chili in the city to music entertainment, the event is centered on family fun. The winning team determined by a panel of judges will be announced at 1 p.m., and of course gain bragging rights within the department along with receiving a trophy.

Admission is $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the following MPD locations.
