Mobile Police Department Investigate Homicide at Chaumont Apartments 805 Navco Road

On Friday, July 04, 2014, at approximately 4:30 a.m. Mobile Fire / Rescue Department along with Mobile Police Department responded to Chaumont Apartments 805 Navco Road for a report of Fire. After extinguishing the fire, they located the victim in a room suffering from being stabbed. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.

The investigation revealed the suspect, a known person to the victim, stabbed her and set the apartment on fire.
