Mobile Police Department Make Attempt Murder / Arson First Degree Arrest

On Tuesday, December 03, 2013, at approximately 10:20 pm, Officers of the Mobile Police Department responded to the 200 Block of Union Avenue for a report of a residential fire. Upon entering, firefighters discovered an adult male lying on the floor unconscious suffering from smoke inhalation. The victim was transport to a local hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, January 02, 2014, following a joint investigation between the Mobile Police and Fire Department 52 year old Robert Taylor was interviewed and charged with Attempt Murder and Arson First Degree.
