Mobile Police Department Make Bank Robbery Arrest

On Monday, March 10, 2014, at approximately 2:15 p.m. officers responded to BankCorp 3952 A Airport Blvd for a report of a Bank Robbery. The suspect, 71 year old Vernon Riley, entered the location and claimed he had a weapon but never brandished one. After taking the money Riley left the location in a vehicle. A vehicle description was given out and Riley was stopped a few blocks away from the Bank. Riley was also arrested for an outstanding warrant with the FBI for Bank Robbery
