Mobile Police, Fallen Officer’s Family Collect Donations for Ronald McDonald House

The Mobile Police Department is asking for the public to join with the family of fallen Mobile Police Officer Brandon Sigler in an annual collection of needed goods for Mobile's local Ronald McDonald House.

Below is a wish list of their most needed items. Items may be donated at Mobile Police Headquarters, 2460 Government Street or at Mobile Police precincts from Tuesday, May 29 to Thursday, May 31, 2012. The Sigler Family will take all donated items to the Ronald McDonald House where they will provide dinner for families currently staying at the House.

Gallon size ziplock bags
Paper plates
Plastic cups (large size)
Postage stamps
Laundry detergent
Toilet brushes
Bath Towels (white)
Bath rugs (white)
Queen fitted sheets (white)
Standard size pillows
Snack cakes
Cookies


Officer Sigler was killed in the line of duty on June 2, 2009 while serving as a courtesy officer for an apartment complex in West Mobile. He was responding to an altercation in the parking lot when he was shot and killed by an 18-year-old man.
