Mobile Police Foundation's Favorite Recipes Cookbook Now Available

Nov 4th, 2015

For the first time, the Mobile Police Foundation has available a Favorite Recipes Cookbook to make family and friends meal planning easier, especially this holiday season. The cookbook is filled with more than 590 recipes that include appetizers, side dishes, seafood, main dishes, breads, desserts, and much more.

Recipes were submitted by current and former employees of the Mobile Police Department and their family members. As an added souvenir, the dividers in the cookbook are photos from the 1800s and 1900s of the Mobile Police Department.

The cost of the cookbook is $15. All proceeds from the sales benefit Mobile Police Chief James Barber's various community outreach programs such as You Still Have a Choice, Second Chance or Else, Respect for Everyone, and Everything about Spice is a Lie. The community's support of these programs through their donation in purchasing the cookbook is much appreciated.
